The Northern Pacific Railroad Depot in
Pullman Washington will be going under an adaptive reuse project to create a
residence, studio, and gallery for Shelly and her husband; who is visually
impaired. The original design of the depot will stay put except for minor
changes inside the building. The original ticket window wall will not be
removed so that visitors who visit the space can remember the history of the
building. Because of the husbands vision impairment the building will be built
under universal design as well as accessibility making it an important aspect
for the client and her husband.
